St Sidwell’s Point is built to ultra-energy saving efficient Passivhaus standard. With a 70% on average annual energy and carbon saving potential, the building is a grand design and has been modelled to withstand predicted change in climate up to 2080. Our flagship Tameside Wellness Centre in Denton offers leisure, health and wellbeing facilities and activities for all ages and abilities.

Car parking charges are needed to encourage people to use public transport, cycle or walk and help tackle congestion, pollution and encourage residents to be more active. The site has secure cycle storage and is well served by a number of bus routes. The more vehicles we can encourage from being driven, the cleaner the air we all breathe and the healthier the environment we live in, as befits the ethos of a wellness centre. The centre has recently undergone refurbishment works to the 25 metre pool and changing rooms which offer improved changing, toilet and shower facilities.
